Life and blog update...

I decided it was time to give you guys a little update on the world of 'That Pommie Girl' as I have been feeling really guilty recently. I know certain things have come and gone from my blog and I wanted to explain why. To start off with, my lookbook style videos. I know they have been missing from my blog and I wanted to explain why. I love the idea of them and don't worry they will be coming back but the short story is I am a perfectionist. It has always been my down fall when it comes to blogging as I never want to do things unless they look 100%. I was really unimpressed with the quality of them and how they looked on my blog so until myself and my website designer find a way to make them look more 'professional' they are on hold. Just wanted to fill you in as I know a lot of you have been asking.

That brings me onto my next thing, so YouTube... this is something I love and something I am definitely going to be doing more of in the future but again I hate having to film where I currently live as the videos are no where near the standards that I want them to be. If I do something I have to give it my all or I end up hating it, its a weird thing I have always had. Does anyone else know what I am talking about?

Having only had my blog for 2 years I am still learning and I am far from an expert at all of this so please bare with me! Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that it would have brought me to where I am today and I have got to say I am finding it hard to keep up. The next step in my life is to hopefully move out. Having just turned 21 I feel it is definitely time to move out as I am independent in every aspect of my life expect for the fact I still live at home, which I am not going to lie, does make blogging hard. My house is far from "instagram'able" so I can't shoot as much content for my blog as I would like but it is coming.... I promise.

Lots of love, oh and for any other life updates don't forget to follow me on snapchat - sarah_ashcroft

  1. Oh, I feel you on this. I am such a perfectionist with so many things, and sometimes I feel it holds me back a bit! Thank you for sharing. And love this look. Gorgeous.

  2. I think to be a perfectionist is a god thing, probably thats the main reason why you got so far :) Hopefully very soon you can express yourself and make the perfect videos you wish to make.

  7. Binary Backdoor Review

Strange things can happen on distant alien worlds in orbit around stars other than our Sun. These faraway exoplanets often display characteristics so bizarre that they are unlike anything astronomers ever expected to see--even in their wildest dreams. When small stars like our Sun run out of their necessary supply of fuel, they have reached the sad and bitter end of that long stellar road, and die a relatively quiet, peaceful death by blowing off their outer gaseous layers into interstellar space.

  8. Stunning! Love the skirt with the crop top and the sandals are fab!

  9. I think it's a good thing to be a perfectionist! It's means that the content you put out there is 100% you!

  10. I know exactly what you mean. Adore you and your blog!

  11. Very cute look ! I love the shoes !

  12. Sarah I'm just wondering do you work out at all u always look amazing ?
